I agree. I think I'm the only person in my neighborhood who owns a trailer. But, everyone has a 1/2 ton crew cab pickup for driving around every day. The Ecodiesel is great for that.
And that is why I drive around every day in a Touareg TDI 4 seater, instead of a truck. I can trailer all day, on the road for 10 to 12 hours, and be comfortable with the ride, not so in a truck that I have ever owned. 33 to 35.5 MPG, 28 MPG if in the city. 0-60 in 6.9 seconds, not that I've ever even tried to do that with 5000# of AWD, to me they are just capability numbers, stuff I'd never use in my diesel.
