Well put, I think.
But I would clarify that while the 3.5L EcoB F150 may get similar mileage to a V8 gasser 2500 while tow/hauling a heavy load, it will do better when unloaded. You don't hear of any gasser 2500s getting 20mpgUS like I do unloaded.
