I believe what ram is saying is if you want to tow heavy with a Ram diesel then don't get the 1500 diesel, get the 2500 diesel and yes it will get 20+ unloaded on the hwy.;)
And get better mileage towing as well!
But for an 7500-8000# trailer like mine, the RAM Cummins, or any of the 250/2500 diesels, would be a bit much, financially especially.
I'll stick with my gasser EcoB for now anyway.
Maybe something in-between the RAM 1500 EcoD and the 2500 Cummins will show up with an in-between price, in-between mileage and better payload (gotta be > 2000#). Nissan with a 5L Cummins?
