Not to be too critical, but I70 goes through Southern Utah and connects to I15 which would then go through Nevada.
I40 is New Mexico and Arizona.
I'm not sure the wind would be terribly different between the two routes.
I towed my 27' 5er with 4000 pound boat over the Rockies with a 5.9 CTD that had a similar output as the ED, but less gears. Lots of those rigs still on the road. It is AMAZING that they haven't killed more people.
Don, maybe you should expand those signs to include the old 7.3 and 5.9 owners. That could be your retirement plan.
