They did confirm that the truck's computer can tell when the cargo bed has carried weight over its max rating and when the truck has towed over its max rating. Ram also stated that carrying and towing over max ratings will void your warranty.

With the air suspension, the computer can store how much pressure it needs to level the truck? From that they can tell if you were over-loaded? Ewe. Big brother is here. :)
(But dunno how they can tell if you tow over max tow rating ...?)
