I'm working to get this in writing, along with exactly how Ram determines what weight you have carried and towed. So far it is going slow but I have time and will keep after Ram.
The weight number I listed were from Ram web site using my 3D truck's VIN number. Cargo weight is 895 pounds with four people in the truck. Cargo weight goes up as people get out of the truck. Also I have been reading on Ram forums where buyers of 2015 Eco Diesel trucks have to sign a form stating that they will not tow over 7,700 pounds.
As to my saying that towing my trailer, that sometimes I don't know it's there while driving on flat roads. Yes, I always know it back there, it's just pulls very easy not feeling any drag (I do feel wind gusts). I have to watch my speed as it is easy to get over 65 mph (I trailer at 60 mph max) without noticing the increase of speed.
Our 2775RB trailer is working well for us over the last 13 months. The only thing we don't like about it is the couch does not fold out into a full bed. The couch is a jackknife only unit so only people under 4 feet tall can sleep on the couch.
