It's all good, I understand Ninebikers point, heck I even posted the wrong spec from the owners manual!
This new (to North America) VM 3.0 diesel engine has some very stringent oil requirements and needs to be followed to the letter if you do not want to damage it.
But here @ RV.net if a thread does not get derailed every couple of pages it wouldn't feel like home now would it guys? ;)
Hay Tory here is one for you ole buddy! I bought a $52,308 (sticker) truck and FCA/Ram does not even put a damn fuel filler cap on it! There is a green plastic plug stuffed in it! The dealer is supposed to remove it and throw it away! I asked them to leave it in place until my aftermarket cap shows up! :M
BTW the lie-o-meter shows 17.9 MPG now, with half a tank of fuel left, can't remember the mileage though. About 50/50 city highway.
