Me and my wife found a 1995 Lance Squire lite 185 but we are unsure of the value and what to offer the seller . He’s asking $4500, we already went to look at it, inside is clean and everything works. The outside isn’t the best condition, will need some TLC. What should we offer ? I don’t want to low ball they guy if it’s worth what he’s asking. These short bed model TC are hard to come by it seems. Checked out the front window area didn’t seem like there was leaks, he also stated there isn’t any leaks and his last outting in Quartzsite was pouring rain and there was no leaks.

There is no way to predict value on rare items. I was trying to sell my Lance 1162, what is big model with slide and could not get 1/2 of NADA value for it in San Francisco area. I know TC are more popular in other states, than in CA, but still. Comparing the $6k I could not get for my model, the 4500 for this seems to be high, but that's just IMHO.Just beware that in early years of RV -manufacturers used corrosive glue for aluminium siding. Make sure the camper has no bubbles on it.

That seems high to me. I sold my 2003 Fleetwood Elkhorn 11x in 2018. I got $9,000 for it. It had a generator, power jacks with wireless remote, 19" flat screen TV. It was also a dry bath with larger gray and black tanks and space for two 20 lb propane tanks.

I was thinking of offering 4K, he’s also including the mounting system for my truck as he owns the same truck as me.

Looking forward to new adventures with this setup. There’s been too many instances where we wished we had a TC. Some days was just want to go without hitching up the bigger trailer.

That looks a million times better inside too!

Truck looks like it’s riding fine and that camper ain’t too heavy.
If it feels like it’s rolling a little too much in the corners you could wedge the lower overload springs. Like lower Stable loads but you can make some out of plastic felling wedges and square u bolts for about $50.
To try it out, cut some wood wedges and hose clamp them in for a test drive.

Or a sway bar, but you likely don’t need much if anything with a lightweight camper.
