Agreed, small waste tanks aren't ideal. But 33gal fresh is pretty darn good for a small TC.
12g black will hold plenty of poops and I bet I could design a small "leak" into the gray tank that would help increase its capacity!
Value is tough to determine due to age and availability, as the OP said. If there was a "book" value, is that appropriate, if the OP can't find many or any campers in that price range and size?
Again the 2 big things are 1. Rot. 2. Does everything work?
If no rot and everything works or at least all the major stuff works, then it's worth what the OP is willing to spend.
Another way to look at it is add up all the projects you think it needs attach a value to that and get a better feel for how much total time and $ you'll have into it. Depends what you value your time at.
I.E. If it needs a water pump fridge and converter, re sealed, flooring and .....whatever, does all that plus the purchase price put you into something comparable for say $8k + a road trip to get it?
