Have had good experience with both EBC and Powerstop ceramic pads. Don’t see drilled/slotted rotors being an advantage on a truck.
If you have the need for more braking ability than a relatively new 1/2 ton pickup provides in OE form, then it’s not the brakes that need upgrading, its something else.
I’ve put a quite a few hard miles in the mountains at or above the rated towing weight of the same truck, driving it like a rental and never cooked the brakes. Although the pads were done at 70k miles. Original rotors still good.
Not trying to talk the OP out of upgrading and quality pads do a great job, but consider your needs and if those needs require upgraded brakes then you need an upgraded truck likely.
