Unless you plan on upgrading to a heavier camper, you said it yourself that your Titan handles the setup fine.
I kinda like the XD diesel, save for 2 things. They don't have a full floater axle so it's really just a heavy half ton. Which in your case is fine but you're not gaining much in the weak link of hauling campers. And I don't have any experince around them so I'd be Leary of a new offering til it's been out a couple years.
As said though, if you're intent on upgrading, skip the half tons and go for a 3/4 ton minimum for the heavy chassis and axles.
