Upgrading to LT 16' tires from 15" is this alright?

I had 16" LT commercial T/A's on my last TT.
They worked well however they are not the same quality as the steel carcass Michelin ribs or Duravis.
T/A's are cheaper and a decent product but not the same quality as the steel carcass tires
