Loading is harder than unloading. I do it myself rather than trying to follow someone's direction. This requires I get in and out of the truck numerous times to ensure I am centered on the TC, but as the driver I take on the responsibility of having my load properly placed and secured. I'd say I take the TC off every month for one reason or another, but the TC goes back on once the truck has served its sans TC purpose.
We have had no problems using the TC off the truck and many times prefer the lower 2-step entrance than when it sits on the truck with five.
