I have nearly the same trailer. 2003 Trail Cruiser 23QB (made by R-Vision). I pulled it with my old truck just fine (2006 Nissan Titan 5.6 v8). MY co-worker who I bought it from use to pull it with a newer model Toyota Tacoma. I think you will be fine on the flats but if you ever want to pull up Donner Summit you will may regret it.
I now pull the same trailer with a 2012 Ram 3500. Over kill for sure but we want to upgrade eventually and needed a new truck. I will be selling mine for cheap in a few weeks if you interested. One last trip.
