Keep looking. The right deal will come.

If it is as good as he says it is probably worth more than 1500 to the right buyer but IMHO 35 is high for a 22 year old camper. However, it is his camper. If you can't meet on price then keep looking. There are lots more out there

It's possible that the local market for TC's in Carbondale is so hot that he can get higher than book value. If he won't come down and you won't pay his asking, then your only choice is to keep looking. He may change his mind if he still has it a few weeks or months from now.
