I think you get what you pay for. I question it for that price. As said, i would not trust it in a wind .
Awnings using the horizontal arms have a higher frequency of repair . Most of the broken awnings sitting in the dumpster at the rv repair shop are horizontal types . The vertical arms seem to be a stronger option.
