The camper we are looking at is an open range. It has a pvc roof rather than a rubber roof. So, it shouldn’t need to be sealed.
Yes it is sealed just the same as an EPDM or TPO roof and requires inspections and sealant touch ups just the same. The actual material is called Alpha Systems Superflex.
The RV "Warranty Forever" is a marketing shell game to generate income for the service department. Nothing but a gimmick. Our 2017 came with the warranty forever and I have read the pages and pages of fine print...........its worthless unless you are just into tossing your money away.
No such thing as a free lunch...or a free warranty or anything else.

Instead of an annual inspection for $150 to keep it valid, they are saying the program is changing. There will be an annual maintenance visit that will cost $500-600. It covers things like sealing the roof, repacking bearings, and cleaning the gas lines on appliances.
The price for the annual inspection is determined by the dealer, it's not stipulated in the warranty forever. The annual fee is for "inspection" If during that inspection the sealants need addressed, or the bearings need serviced, you can bet your rear end that will be at an additional cost. You can not do that annual inspection yourself by the way, it must be done by a dealer who has signed onto the 'warranty forever" sham. Depending on your interpretation of the wording in the fine print, it very well may be required to be done by the selling dealer.
