The camper we are looking at is an open range. It has a pvc roof rather than a rubber roof. So, it shouldn’t need to be sealed.
Your ideas are welcomed and appreciated.
Nonsense. Every trailer with a membrane roof needs to be periodically inspected & caulked wherever there's an intrusion into that membrane and on just about every roof there are plenty of these intrusions. If avoiding roof sealing is really important you ought to be considering something like an Airstream that doesn't have a roof membrane.
Of course, all membrane roof covering seams need to be inspected and touched up, but the PVC material (which all Open Ranges have) does not need an annual coating to be applied like on rubber roofs.
NO rubber roof needs an annual coating.
