This really stinks! I have a herniated disk right now so I'm pretty useless! We have our vacation coming on the 23rd. If I file an insurance claim, it will be down for weeks for repair. I can't sleep over worrying about mold and water damage on our new tt. I am really discouraged right now because the timing couldn't be worse. The water was ramming from the back all the way to the front and there was a big bubble about 10 ft from the front that I punched a few small holes in. I have been dreaming about camping for two months since we got this thing and now I don't even want to look at it.
This isn't an insurmountable problem. Is there someone you could enlist from the family or hire someone to pull off the under belly cover? I would also pull any fiberglass insulation that is wet and replace it. If your environment is fairly dry, a couple of fans and a warm day will make the exterior of the floor OK. If you're worried about mold, use a hand sprayer and diluted bleach and spray across the bottom of the floor when you have it dried out.
If your mobility is really impacted from the disc issue, get a mirror underneath the worst part of the wet area and monitor the drying without going underneath.
FWIW, I have three discs that are no more. The pain and discomfort of the herniation will get better with time. It's different for everybody with these back problems, I know, but the initial injury is the most painful time span. Best of luck with your back and I hope this gives you some ideas about the trailer.
