I am new to trailering..but I can tell you this. If it were a house, you dry up,the water immediately, put a fan and dehumidifier on it, and all is good. Mold needs constant moisture to do serious damage.
PS -- reminds me of when my folks borrowed my old MH. Brought it home after 2 days and told me there was a "stink" in the holding tanks....they'd poured 3 gallons of chemicals in it but the stink was still there. ???? I'd cleaned it out...couldn't figure it out. I asked if it was possibly LP they were smelling. My step dad informed me that LP doesn't have a smell (yeah, right --- I know -- he was wrong). SO, since he delivered it to my house, I waited till I got off work and opened the door. OMG.....they'd left 2 burners ON and not LIT, the smell of propane dang near knocked me on my a$$. I reached under the rig and turned it off. They had NO idea they'd turned on the burners without lighting the burner!!!!!!! (and yes, I HAD told them it didn't have an electronic ignition). They had driven it 250 miles to bring it home!!!!!!! That was the last time I let anyone use my rig.......:)
