I had a similar thing happen to me a few years ago, that is why I said I don`t think it is a big deal. if it only got wet once and it is being dried out, everything should be OK. for me it`s been 3 years and no problems.
That one picture that someone posted of the rear corner looks to have been wet for a long time! once the water is gone and everything is dried up mold cannot grow. mold needs moisture! get rid of the moisture and you get rid of the mold!
