There was a test that someone here once posted, where they took a piece of flooring and soaked it. It did not take long for it to basically disintegrate. I was skeptical, so I tried it at home. He was right. I do not recall just how long it took, but I do remember being shocked at how quickly it happened.... Mold is not the first problem here...
There are some high dollar wood products that are immune to this damage. But, they are not commonly used in TT construction.
Even if they give this TT a clean bill of health. I would not keep it.
If the fixing dealer will not stand behind it.... That should tell you something.
