I just got a call from the insurance adjuster just to update me on the case. He said it is in the service bay with a bunch of slices in the underbelly. He said their estimate should be ready by the beginning of next week. He said that if it is just a dry out treat the wood and button it back up, it will get fixed. If there is to much infiltration into the wood or cabinets delaminating, it could be a total loss and to prepare for that as one of the possibilities. I just hope their buyout is reasonable. I only have 12k on the loan and I could never replace it for that. Retail value/replacement value is way higher. Ugh, it is stressful when things are totally out of your control.
