Ok - so I am a newbie and a very stubborn DIY person. (aka would like to save money on DIY projects to spend on camping fees.)2018 Keystone Bullet Premiere 19FBPR.. Trying to winterize myself with antifreeze, but the water pump is not circulating through the lines. I checked to see if there were any cutoff values that needed switching (like the one on the hot water heater). I could not find one. What am I missing? Thanks!Patti - the new old kid

Are you trying to pull antifreeze from a jug using a winterizing hose, or are you trying to pull antifreeze from the fresh water tank? Either way, valves must be in the correct position.

I filled fresh water tank with 7 gallons of antifreeze.I only see one valve and it looks like it is from the city water line feeding into a blue line. (I tried it anyway, no luck.) I cannot find one from the tank to the pump.

You should have disconnected the intake to the pump and put a tube from it into a gallon of antifreeze. then with all faucets closed turn on the pump and one at a time open each faucet. As soon as you see pink stuff coming out, close that faucet and do the next. Prior to doing that you should have bypassed the water heater and then drained it.Also flush the toilet until you see pink stuff and don't forget the shower.My trailer takes a tad more then one gallon and it is only a five minute jobGuy

Was your fresh water tank empty when you added 7 gal of antifreeze? If not, you've already diluted the antifreeze. Do you get anything from the faucets with the pump running? Did you before the antifreeze?I suspect you would be better off researching "winterizing an RV" to learn the processes if you've not already done that.

If nothing happens turn the valve the other direction and wait 60 seconds again.

When you turn on the pump do you have a faucet open? This is required to displace the air in the system so the pump can draw liquid.

Is it possible the 7 gallons is not enough for the pump to pick up?

That definitely could be a possibility some pump suction tubes are on the side of the tank.

This is why I indicated in my post that it took my BIL 9 gallons before pump would pick it up but the plumbing only required a little over a gallon.

Once completed you can then drain the fresh water tank back into empty jugs and use again as it won't be deluted if tank was drained prior.

That is why I said this just 3 hours after the thread started: "If you never pulled water from the fresh water tank, that 7 gallons may not have come up to the pickup port."

I’d open your tank drain and drain out the af you put in there.
If it’s not diluted you can reuse it.
And presuming it’s not terribly cold, I’d fill the tank some with water and drain, a few times, while you’re doing the other winterization.
May as well get the tank flushed out and clean while it’s fresh. Less to do in the spring!
