And that's what I believe was the problem!! Located a pump for $104 + tax locally. Rather than drive a 6 hour round trip to my dealer I was going to buy the pump.

I took off the wire nuts and tested again for power, which I had. I left the pump switch on & disconnected the outflow hose. Then I disconnected the water tank side and the pump starts to run.

Then I remembered reading STBRetired's post. The pump evidently has a built in pressure switch.

Problem solved!!!!!! Thank-You all for your assistance.

It looks like the Pump it's toasted, time for a new one.

My wife called the manufacturer, KZ and even though the camper is 2 months out of warranty they're going to cover it!!

Could also be the pressure cutoff switch built into the pump. Try bypassing it. If it's a ShurFlo pump the switch is available as a separate part for way less money than a new pump. Not sure about other brands but suspect that the switch would be available.

A tester can show good voltage, but without amperage it wont run. A poor connection can do that on a/c or d/c.
Try hooking the pump to a dumb battery charger that will spark when you strike the leads together (3) , direct to a battery (2) or (1) try ro run another 12v dc appliance on those power wires. Maybe simply ohm the pump (experts chime in here) no resistance, open, bad pump, resistance, bad wire or switch

Gotta be a bad pump!!

If water pump does work when directly connected to 12 volt power supply - replace the water pump. They aren't expensive and installation is real easy.
