Water treatment when hooked up to sewer

The bottles of toilet chemicals only cost a couple of dollars. Is it worth saving $2 and having a poop problem? I will dump my chemicals in and use the toilet as designed and not suffer from black tank constipation.

that's a big no. bleach will cause the acid in the urine to give off a bad odor and it's not good for your lungs

I don't even hook up my sewer hose until I'm ready to dump.. I'm a little bit different in my dump tank usage than the majority of others here, so this just works for me...

I use the little blue pods in my black tank and in the end, my grey tank reeks more than than my black tank...

IMO, keep both black and gray closed until ready to dump. If you don't like to pull the valves often, get electric valves installed and push a button.

Keep them both closed. Dump black when 75% full. Add water to bring to 75% if you wish. Use gray water to flush hose.

What ever you do, DONT leave your valve open.

As far as dumping, I was in 3rd in line at the dump today and the first two RV's were fine but the last old guy obviously doesn't use chems. Even though I was a good 50' away, we had to leave because of the horrendous stench.

For the sake of other campers, please people, use chems.

And if your that jerk with the Tango TT at Rasar this weekend, your stuff stinks so quit being a cheap ars and use something.
