My kids loved sitting right in front of my wave 3 in my eagle cap. I have a wave 3 sitting in my garage ready to install in my wolf creek. Still trying to find a place to mount it, but I doubt I will permanantly mount it. I like the idea of angling it wherever you need the heat especially with the limited output the wave 3 offers. I agree once temps drop below 40 the furnace becomes your main source of heat. Still, your furnace cycles less saving precious winter time amp hours. I am thinking of placing it under the kitchen sink and will pull it out when needed (will need to purchase the legs or make my own).
One thing I learned as I was too cheap to buy the dust cover is the free shower caps in hotels make perfect dust covers and fit the wave 3 perfectly :)
