- lushyExplorerI use Turtle Wax Ice Liquid Wax.

It's a clear liquid wax that does not leave any white residue. Easy to apply and remove. I apply it, polish it off and buff it out. It IS a time consuming project which I break up into 2-3 days usually. I wax the entire TT once a year and redo the front a couple times a year. IMHO waxing the TT is worth doing. It does keep it looking very nice and new and it helps with the black streaks also. I compare my TT to some of my friends who don't wax and there is a very big difference. It's a personal preference. Wax on... Wax off. - beemerphile1ExplorerI have never waxed any trailer of the dozen or so I have owned. I would suggest if you want to wax it, use your favorite car wax. I have read many comments that decals should NOT be waxed, check with the manufacturer.

It is a liquid, but barely. This stuff goes a LONG way. A quarter size dab will cover roughly 2x2.
It IS NOT a polish, it is a topcoat. You literally wipe it on and wipe it off. Very little work unless you put it on too thick.
I did my truck and my trailer, and literally used only 1/2 a bottle. A friend of mine accused me of giving him magic wax. Staying power is unbelievable.
I've used a lot of waxes in the last 25 years of messing with hot rods, and this stuff tops them all. It is that good.
It is priced anywhere from 12-20 per bottle. - Fast0neExplorerI have been using the meguiars m5032 boat/rv cleaner wax ever spring. Easy on and off.
Then I use meguiars ultimate wash & wax soap works well and you can see the water beading off.
Then after each trip when I get home I will wash the front to clean the bugs off. Now the bugs that don't wash off I use mothers California gold showtime spray wax. This cleans the bugs off very easy. And takes no time to apply.
But 2 years later it still looks like new and the front has no stuck on bugs. I just did the whole tralier for winter with the spray on wax. I tried a sample spot with the meguiars vs the spray on wax and there was no major differance in color so I just used the spray wax and will use the meguires in the spring again.
Also between the soap and spray wax I have no black streaks going on and if I do get some they clean up very easy. - hondaproExplorerI have had great results with Collinite wax and Duragloss sealant.I normally apply the Duragloss first and then the Collinite, yes it is alot of work but the results are worth it.

I use 303 Aerospace Protectant as the TT doesn't need wax. But wax will make it easier to clean so I used Nufinsh and a orbital buffer to apply this fall for the first time. It's inexpensive and lasts a long time.
X2 on NuFinish. Easy on, easy off, lasts a long time. Economical too. - rbpruExplorer III use "Mothers" wash and wax.
I wash the trailer with soap and water then rinse, and then re-wash again with the wash and wax.
I do it after the first trip or two when the weather warms and again at the end of the season.
I am sure the more work you put into it the better the protection, but I am too darned old start waxing stuff now; I hated it as a kid and things have not changed much. - We_Cant_WaitExplorerWhile it took me a total of 8 hrs. on a 41' motorhome I use a 1/2 & 1/2 mix of Meguiars paste cleaner and wax, and their Carnauba paste wax. I use a 6" buffer to apply, and a 12" buffer to remove. Yes there are still small areas that I have to apply and remove the wax by hand, but the finished wax job will last for a whole summer.
- CeciltExplorerI usually use a liquid wax on the front cap and a spray wax on the sides and back. Just picked up a wax from an on-line retailer called CarPro Reload Spray Sealant. Lasts 3-4 months. I normally spray wax 3x per year and this is MUCH easier and faster than doing 1-2 liquid/paste wax jobs per year.
