I always use a couple of wood blocks under the tongue jack. We have trunnion style bars and simply rest the trunnion ends on top of the wood blocks.

On my old trailer, I would store them in the front pass through (I had both a front and a back pass through). Now that I have a trailer with less outside storage I use a dedicated plastic storage container and put them in it, and slide it under the trailer. I've never worried about, nor had an issue with theft. If that were an issue, my solution might not work.

I put the levers back up, slide in the pin and there's a hole on the heavy end of the bar I stick onto the lever. Grease is near the frame and then I put the ball back on the trailer and let it hang on the the hitch, it will swivel out of the ay but it's there for easy storage.

I give them a quick wipe off and put them in the bed of the truck. Then I go fix rockets in my labratory.:E

I store mine in the front pass-through storage. I slip them in an old bag that originally held an umbrella folding style chair. Works great. I also put the hitch and ball in there too. As stated above, this eliminates the danger of whacking your leg on the hitch attached to your tow vehicle.

I did the same thing. Two boxes...one on each side of the garage.
