I still don't get it. You were using a WDH setup on a bumper mounted ball hitch? No matter now I guess.
And now in order to make your tounge weight lighter, you are taking advice to remove a propane tank and relocate the battery? The one who will benefit most from that is the person your going to pay to have it done - most likely your 30 years experienced salesman. Traveling WITH the water tanks filled - to make the tounge lighter??? WOW...
I don't want my battery stolen either - so I keep it in the garage.
I truly feel sorry for you - you are getting the run-around. So you have bought yet another TT and are again struggling to force a particular TV that meets your communting standards to work?
If you want to tow with a small SUV then you should have bought a hard sided Trailmaster popup. But you like to try making the square peg fit into the round hole.
Your tag line reads Perpetual newbies- Techno and mechanophobes. I'm afraid this has some merit as you seem unable to grasp basic concepts from the plentiful good advice given in your multitude of threads. You are going to cause an accident and hurt the innocent. Again - good luck to you and whoever crosses your path.
Thank you for your kind words.
If you keep your battery in the garage, what runs your rig on the road? The person who posted about his battery getting stolen (in another thread a while back) said it happened on the road, I believe.
Where did you get the idea that we've bought another TT?
The MB we want is far from a "small SUV." It's a full-sized grown-up one.
Again, thanks for your good thoughts.
