I keep reading about towing with an MB diesel is this a truck or a car if it's a car you probably have a unibody vehicle, if it's a truck there is a good chance that you have a separate body on frame set up. Since you're not finding any specs for a wdh then I'm thinking that you have unibody which most of the time will not take weight distribution bars without bending. If you have a body on frame set up it's a lot stronger and better made for wdh. What size is the hitch receiver, weight dist. setups take at least a 2" class 4 hitch, if it only has a 1 and a half' receiver that is a class 3 and not at all capable of using a weight dist. system. If it is a bumber hitch only attached to the rear of the vehicle there is no way that it can be used for anything but very light towing. So in my opinion if you have a car don't try it, if it's a truck try and find what it's towing capacity is and does it have a factory installed towing package. You should be able to find this info at a MB dealer.
