Congratulations on your new trailer. I am sure you will have many great times.
We use camp water and if that is not to our liking, we carry 20 to 30 gallons from our well at home. However, there are any number of in-line, faucet end or pitcher type filters to suit your needs.
We use a screen cloth that attaches to our awning with Velcro, to block the sun but it leaves the ends open. We use a screen bug house like the one shown above because if necessary, we can lift it over the picnic table to keep the rain and bugs out. I was very handy in Michigan's UP.
There is no comparison between a tent and an RV. With the RV you gain an eminence amount of convenience but you loss some of the "feel" of camping. We come from a canoe and tent background and there is absolutely nothing that happens in an RV that compares to a six hour paddle against rain, wind and whitecaps to get the grandkids back to the cabin.
We use the good old 12 cup Mr. Coffee from home. What we do not drink for breakfast we put in a thermos for later.
Everybody's camping style is different. We actually spend very little time in our TT. We eat breakfast than it is off to hike or sight-see, returning for supper, a campfire then bed. Other folks never leave their camp sight.
Finally, because everyone's camping style is different, buy what you need not what others say you need. I still have a few unopened, never used items from four years ago; that folks said we could not camp without.
Rving is a lot of fun, I am sure you will enjoy and at time be surprised by the unique experiences that come with it.
Safe travels.
