weight advice

We have the same camper ( your weights for the 996 look just about right) on a Chevy DRW 3500. Check my sig for suspension improvements that work very well. As noted, you should be fine with the current setup and possibly go with Stableloads if you get too much rocking side to side. Try it out first with your current setup, you might be surprised how well it handles.
