If it's similar to the one I saw a picture of, the front upper bunk windows looked like leakers. I'd be real cautious about water intrusion and rot with a unit that old. Are you sure about year? - KSalzwedelExplorerPositive about the year. S&S is still in business, though doing a contract for the gov't and making fewer campers for a while. We understand their units are high quality, but relatively heavy. I thought the avalanche got a bit lighter though than previous versions.
It doesn't have the signatute bubble windows. In fact no forward window in the cabover. Will definitely scope out roof and leaks.
