My rig, loaded for a weekend, 1/2 fresh tank, without me, came in at 8850. Front 3650, rear 5200.

Loaded for a longer trip I'm probably only slightly over GVW.

Wow, if you hadn't posted the scale tickets I probably wouldn't have believed the numbers, unless.... those are KILOS.:)

X2 on the front tire pressure. 50PSI is what they recommend at full axle load. 80PSI is wholly unnecessary, and may actually be detrimental to the suspension. The tires soak up some of the roughness from the roads.

I stop at closed State Patrol truck scales, so no weigh slips. From what I remember of my last stops:

Unloaded truck (no driver):
Front - 4500 lbs
Rear - 3000 lbs

Loaded truck + TC (gear, food, fluids, occupants):

Those aren't really "scrapes"
Tey are corrosion marks where the wheel weights used to be at some point in the life of the wheel.

RPO code PYO wheels are famous for developing that in the Pacific North"wet", thanks to the deicer and ^@&#% used on the highways.

Side note: PYO wheels are only rated for 3042 lbs each.
