Yeah, I still don't get it.
My truck is 5200 front, and 6100 rear, for a total of 11300.
But the GVWR is 10,000 lbs.
But, I think the total GVWR is mainly a government bull rating based on the class of truck.
In my state, the only registration options for my truck are either 8k or 12k lbs. Go figure.
12k and I'm legal. Of course, I'm not at 12k, yet. :)
