3000? You'll be fine. Towing a boat is not like towing a travel trailer. Far less wind resistance. trailer does not have brakes but I'd be surprised if it didn't.
Everything you need to know about your towing capacity is listed in your owners manual. Stop reading what you find randomly on the Internet. More often than not it doesn't tell the whole story. If you don't have the manual, download one. Also join GMT Nation. Lots of very knowledgeable folks on there that know the GMT 360/370 platform inside and out.
trailer does not have brakes I know because I bolted on the springs /axels on.
