I'm so glad to see your thread. I thought I had it bad. Earlier this week I opened a cupboard door and found I had inadvertently failed to put in one of the rods that spans across the cupboard opening and a plastic container with about 2 lbs. of powdered sugar went flying. It bounced off the counter, the lid flew off and in one swift move it threw out about 1/3 of the contents before landing upright in the empty but open trash can. (how lucky is THAT?)
My first thought was ANTS!!!!!! And it was right at the end of the slide where the sugar went behind and down and . . . and . . . and . . etc., etc., etc. So fortunate that most was still in the container and in the trash can all nicely contained.
I got it all cleaned up and must have done a good job because I haven't seen any signs of ants or anything.
BUT, there's no doubt, your experience tops mine.
LOL
