I just made a long trip with similar weight on my Dodge. Running 3950lb cap Toyos. They handled the load fine. Of course I have the worst combo for heavy weight when it comes to tire wear. Siped mud terrains. In the 3000 mi the camper has been on the truck I've got 3-4x greater treadwear than running empty. Some good AT tires would prolly wear less but still at least 2x normal I bet.
Running med duty tires will cost double up front but if you're putting a lot of loaded miles on will make it up on the back end IMO.
