Am a tire pro at all levels..lastly a consultant for large fleets and a tread design specialist..have not researched the M55 and ideally a solid center is preferred for a open design,as is the M55,but the ND design that I'm seeing form the photo I would recommend this tire based on tread design only. All tires produced today, except for ply material, are the same. All highway use tires from a VW to a Kenworth use a 72 hardness compound and are constructed and molded in the same way. So what I'm suggesting is the single most important factor in determining a purchase should be about the tread design.
