- RoyBExplorer III would not PLUG a headset into the second picture until verified what it is. The headset may go up in BLUE SMOKE.
I suspect this is for a portable combo BED LIGHT/FAN. There will be 12VDC present on this connection if that is the case. My bed areas on my off-road POPUP uses 1/4-inch phono type plugs for its combo 12VDC BED LIGHT/FAN unit. My connection however is located on the side of the ceiling lamp similar to this google photo...
I did find this 12VDC plug on google also that looks very similar to your photo.
If it were me once you verify what this connector is used for I would label the connection with a marker to identify what it is. Sooner or later someone may think it is an audio headphone connection.

The connector is not an "RCA" connector - it is a phone jack - probably 1/4". Being located near the bunks, could it be a headphone outlet for the stereo? Phone plugs and jacks are not usually used for low-level inputs - only for speaker-level outputs.
The plugin connector is for a bunk fan/ light. Its 12 volt - dadmomhExplorerBingo on the bunkend fans. If, by chance, you don't have them, you can find on ebay and lots of other places. Believe they should be around $25 ea, give or take.

The handle is definitely for a waste tote
The warning on handle gave that away
