What are you towing with your F150?
What are you towing with your Ford F150 5.4 litre? Anything added to beef it up?

- We use the 2013 Truck of the Year to tow our TT...5.7L:
- I am going in the opposite direction from the previous poster. Just sold the F350 and will be pulling the same trailer (Keystone Passport 2910BH) with the F150 ecoboost this upcoming season.
- Before...... 4.6 L 3.55 Tow capacity 6,900 lbs. Towing 5500 33ft dry. Loaded 6,800. Did ok. Lots of hills at 50 mph in 2nd. That new ecoboos however, is awesome. The only reason I bought the TT was I got a deal and I knew a bigger truck was in the near future. I was torn between the ecoboost and the 250. I like the larger truck for stability but as far as power the 150 would have been just fine. Sure miss the 150 in parking lots :)
AFTER, Aaaaaaah much better.
- '04 bought new. Now has 53k miles. I want new but can't justify. Need a major breakdown. ;)
We have 10 yr. old tune in it, AirLifts, Rancho 9000s, and factory tow.
Here's what we tow... it's a baby compared to most rigs on RV.net!

- '03 F-150 with factory tow, 5.4, rated for 8000#. We tow a 2013 Rockwood Ultra Lite 2604....6629 GVWR and nowhere close to it. Tows very well. Love our truck. Love our TT even more.
- I pulled a 28' TT with our '97 F150 with a 4.6 but when we got the 34' TT the 8500 lb or so was to much for it so we use our SUV to pull the TT now. The F150 towed until 190,000 miles and we still use it around town.
- Check out my signature. Added Roadmaster Active Suspension. Will be adding EBC Green Stuff or the new Orange Stuff brake pads and rotors.
