$40 a year in DE for my truck.

Commercial vehicles are $40 for the first 5K lbs, and $18 for each additional thousand.

Inspection on older vehicles is required every 2 years. A lot longer on newer vehicles.

On 1996 and newer vehicles that means check computer for codes/readiness, lights/wipers/tires/etc safety check, and a brake test.
