- fallsriderExplorerI was able to do something to our TT today that I had wanted since we bought it...I installed a battery disconnect switch. I ordered the Blue Sea Systems marine battery switch off Amazon, and was able to get it installed today. It was fairly straight forward. I mounted it to the end of the battery box, and installed a wire to the breakaway switch so that it bypasses the off/on feature and is always "on". Now I can turn the battery on and off without having to even remove the battery box cover, yet if I forget to turn the switch on before towing, the breakaway system will still work.
I was concerned that the #10 stainless steel bolts might rub on the battery inside the box, so I dropped a piece of clear acrylic in there between the battery and the bolts to prevent rubbing while going down the road. - tkhollywoodExplorerListed our old one on Craigslist and sold it in 2 hours. Went to the dealer and bought a new Jayco white hawk 2014 33BHBS. Got it loaded and left for 9 days up to Sleeper State Park.
- stuartgwestonExplorerThat was simply a fantastic solution redhedneck. Actually, I used to use peppermint oil for mice extermination. The smell is too strong for the little varments which tend them turn and run.I've also tried traps that catch a mouse in a box will let them live. However, your solution appears to be quite effective.
Soon going to give that a try! Thanks for sharing. - CrabbypattyExplorerWe just upgraded to a larger TT so far I have installed two Trojan 125 6volt batteries, a 2000 watt pure sine wave Xantrax inverter, flat screens, Jackd antenna. Left to do are the Maxx Airs and the black tank vent pipe Venturi. I still need to buy a ladder so I can mount the smart repeater wifi antenna and the Wilson cellular antennas. Can't wait to get out and use it sooner than later!
- JiminDenverExplorer IIWell so far this year we have bought it a new remote start generator, two 245w solar panels, a tailgater portable satellite dish and a new inverter. We have been waiting to wake it from its winter slumber, good thing too as we just had a snow storm. lol
- scotty16ExplorerJust got back from taking our mothers camping for the weekend, my 78 y\o mother had a great time after an approx 40+ year hiatus from camping. A couple mods have been LED strip lights out under awning, 24" flat screen with cabinet behind and 7" gel/memory foam QS mattress! Happy camping!!
- pdmac1946ExplorerFinally got warm enough to wash the grunge off from 2000 mile trip from Arizona. Installed a Vortex II turbo fan conversion kit in the bathroom. Repaired buggered up sheet metal trim on slide after an argument with a gas pump barrier. Sanitized the fresh water tank and lines after flushing out antifreeze. Got TT all set up to go because I may be slowed down this summer with health issues. Just have to load food and clothes and be gone. :-)

Where did you get the led lights? Did they just plug in and work or do you have to do any electrical work?
JordanH I bought them on Ebay cheapest and bright as hell! You gotta buy these adapters and you hook the end of the led to the adapter plug it in and turn the switch on if they dont light shut switch off and revers the led wire to the adapter and itll work. dont worry the led wont blow if u have them reversed :-)
Heres what to search for in ebay

Thanks! - dadmomhExplorerKeep it! We were 99% sure we were moving to FL and there would be no storage for Rocky....other than the places I found that wanted $175 mo and THAT wasn't gonna happen. One obstacle after another and we decided that we just weren't supposed to move to FL at this point in time, so Rocky is safely tucked in his Rockyport and he says he's glad to still be our baby. Oh, and I did buy him a new indoor/outdoor digital thermometer.
