What do I need to add to truck for truck camper

Hello everyone, I'm new here and I will be a new truck camper owner hopefully soon. I just sold my 33ft travel trailer to buy a truck camper. What I need your help with is what I actually need to do...

Leave your tailgate at home.
Get a rubber bed mat. Get tie downs installed. Get a 7 pin connector installed for the camper lights and battery charge. Except, if you really plan on buying a Lance; Lance uses their own proprietary electrical connector.
