What does your mechanics in your area charge per hour?
Just curious what mechanics charge in your area charge. My mechanic charges $85 per hour by what the book says it will take.

My normal mechanic charges about $40-45 an hour. He does it out of his shop, my old neighbor real good friend of mine. He has my charge card so he just buys what he needs and bills me labor. If he can't or won't work on something he brings it to his diesel mechanic up the road, $90 an hour. He brings parts to him I pay with his discounts at Ford or the auto part stores.
