Dealership and repair shops always seem to run around $100.00.
Albiet I am a huge fan of mobile RV repair for tow car, MH, and toad.....their rates per hour are way lower but you have to watch the greedy ones on what the 'trip charge' is. I.E what they are going to charge you just to come out 'on top' of the hourly rate.
A lot of them want $75 bucks for the trip charge.
A little OT but down here in Florida the dang handyman wants 70 bucks trip charge just to come to your house to work.
Boy I sure wish someone paid me every day for all those years to get up and drive to work. :R
I have a RV tech coming tomorrow. $75 trip charge and $88 per hour. He is upfront about his charges.
I used a large RV dealer in North Mississippi a few years back. Got into a big argument about their charges since they used book rate when it benefitted them and billed you by actual hours when it took longer than the book time. This dealer told me it took their service person 4 hours (@ $120 per hour) to remove a line of caulk along the top of the tub surround. He actually told me this with a straight face.
