What does your mechanics in your area charge per hour?
Just curious what mechanics charge in your area charge. My mechanic charges $85 per hour by what the book says it will take.

and this is why my son is pursuing a 4 year degree in Automotive Technology Management. Recent grads of the program are getting snapped up by Cummins and others at around $65k starting pay....more with OT. Being an auto tech is one job that will never get outsourced to another country.
