I've never had it but I have numerous friends who have that think it's well worth it. One friend lost a fridge and it was about $1200.00 for the fridge, plus labor. He was very happy to pay the deductible. Another lost his AC.
One thing to remember is that your fridge and AC have 2 yr warranties from their manufacturer, so Good Sam will not pay until those expire.
I lost a fridge after 5 yrs, caught it on sale and installed it myself for $999.00. I figure at ($250 per yr x 3, deducting the 2yr manufacturing warranty plus the $300 deductible}, I about broke even.
One thing for sure on an RV is you will eventually need it. It's like any insurance, you hate to pay it, but sure are happy when you need it and it takes care of you. I toss it around lately now that my rig is well out of warranty.
