My '03 2500 Dodge/Cummins quad cab has a actual 3140 lb payload based on a 6000 RAWR with LT265/70-16 E tires.
This particular trucks front axle doesn't carry any part of my trailers bumper hitch or GN/5th wheel hitch weight as my pin is zero over the trucks rear axle.
